17th Special Forces Group

The 17th Special Forces Group was a U.S. Army Reserve Group located in Seattle, Washington. It was activated in Boise, Idaho on April 3, 1961. In 1966 it was absorbed by the 12th Special Forces Group based in the central part of the United States. Unit members wore a blue cut felt flash.
